About Safa Living CarePreparing for CQC

A care organisation built on dignity, respect and choice.

Safa Living Care is a newly established, Berkshire-based care organisation. Today we provide selected non-regulated support that helps people live with more confidence and independence. In parallel, we are preparing carefully for future CQC registration so that our regulated services — when they launch — reflect the standards our community deserves.

Our story

Why Safa Living Care was founded

Safa Living Care was founded to fill a simple, important gap: a care organisation that treats every person as an individual — not a case, not a slot on a rota. We saw a need for a service in Berkshire built patiently around dignity, choice and independence, with the professional standards to back that up.

Rather than rushing to launch, we are laying the operational, safeguarding and training foundations required for regulated care first. In the meantime, our non-regulated support already helps people across Berkshire with companionship, welfare visits, community access and everyday living.

Our Mission

To support people to live with dignity, independence and confidence through compassionate, person-centred care.

Our Vision

To build a trusted care organisation recognised for compassion, integrity, inclusion and high professional standards.

Our values

The values that shape every decision we make.

Compassion

We approach every person, family and colleague with warmth, patience and genuine care. Compassion is not a policy — it is how we choose to be.

Respect

Every individual is met with dignity, cultural understanding and genuine regard for their voice, faith and lived experience.

Trust

We build trust through consistency, honesty and accountability — from the first conversation to every visit that follows.

Excellence

We hold ourselves to high professional standards, invest in training and constantly improve the way we work.

Independence

We support people to do more for themselves — recognising that independence looks different for everyone.

Inclusion

We welcome and reflect the diverse communities we serve, and design our service to be accessible to all.

Our intended care model

Person-centred, community-connected, professionally delivered.

Our future regulated services will be built around a person-centred model: consistent carer teams, thoughtful matching, small caseloads where possible, clear support plans, and structured governance behind the scenes.

We are designing our operational model to meet CQC expectations from day one, and committing to continuous improvement — because the standard of care should always be rising.

Our commitments

How we hold ourselves accountable.

Safeguarding

Robust safeguarding processes, DBS-checked staff, clear escalation, and a culture where concerns are always heard and acted on.

Quality

Care planned, delivered and reviewed against clear standards — designed to satisfy CQC expectations from the moment we register.

Equality & Inclusion

A service shaped around cultural, faith, disability, gender and personal preferences — with equality at the heart of every plan.

How we plan to deliver care

Our intended future care journey

Following registration and launch

  1. Step 1

    Initial Conversation

An unhurried first conversation to understand your situation, what matters most, and how we might help — with no obligation and no pressure.

  2. Step 2

    Personal Assessment

A calm visit to understand routines, environment, clinical needs, culture, faith and personal preferences in full — always in your own space, at your own pace.

  3. Step 3

    Tailored Support Planning

A written support plan built with you — and, if you wish, your family or professionals — covering goals, tasks, timings, safety and how success will be measured.

  4. Step 4

    Ongoing Support and Review

Regular reviews with you and your team to keep the plan aligned to your life as it changes — always in partnership, never as a paperwork exercise.

Our long-term goals

To become a trusted, CQC-registered care provider across Berkshire — recognised for our person-centred approach, professional standards and the outcomes we help people achieve.

Community impact

We want Safa Living Care to be a positive presence in the communities we serve — supporting inclusion, reducing isolation and helping people live full lives close to home.
