Supported Living · BerkshirePlanned Following CQC Registration

Independence, dignity and community — supported thoughtfully.

Our planned Supported Living service is being built around a simple belief: that people should be helped to live the life they choose, with the right support beside them. It is not yet active — we're preparing carefully, so that when it launches, it launches well.

Supported Living is planned and not yet active. Service delivery will begin only after all necessary registration, staffing and operational requirements have been completed.

Our planned model

What Supported Living with Safa Living Care will look like

A person-centred model designed around real, everyday independence — not around a service rota.

Greater Independence

Support designed to help people do more for themselves — practical, patient and always led by the person.

Personal Choice

How support is delivered, by whom, at what times and around which routines — the person we support decides.

Daily Living Skills

Coaching in cooking, laundry, shopping, travel, appointments and everything that makes running a home feel achievable.

Community Inclusion

Support to build friendships, hobbies, faith connections and community roles — a life that feels full, not clinical.

Education & Employment Goals

Practical support to work towards college, training, volunteering and employment — aspirations taken seriously.

Budgeting & Household Routines

Help with money, bills, routines and household admin — the everyday scaffolding of independent living.

Social & Emotional Development

Support to build confidence, communication and healthy relationships at each person's own pace.

Health & Wellbeing

Coordinated support with GPs, therapists and specialist teams so health goals are met alongside daily life.

Personalised Support Planning

A living, written plan shaped with — never for — the person we support, reviewed regularly and never generic.

Family Communication

With consent, families are welcomed as partners — trusted voices in planning, reviews and daily updates.

Positive Risk Management

Enabling choice while managing risk carefully — supporting people to grow, not simply keeping them safe from life.

How we plan to deliver care

Our intended future care journey

Following registration and launch

  1. Step 1

    Initial Conversation

An unhurried first conversation to understand your situation, what matters most, and how we might help, with no obligation and no pressure.

  2. Step 2

    Personal Assessment

A calm visit to understand routines, environment, clinical needs, culture, faith and personal preferences in full, always in your own space, at your own pace.

  3. Step 3

    Tailored Support Planning

A written support plan built with you, and if you wish your family or professionals, covering goals, tasks, timings, safety and how success will be measured.

  4. Step 4

    Ongoing Support and Review

Regular reviews with you and your team to keep the plan aligned to your life as it changes, always in partnership, never as a paperwork exercise.
